- Honey: Honey has natural antibacterial and soothing properties that can help relieve cough and sore throat. Add a teaspoon of honey to herbal tea or warm water with lemon.
- Warm Compress: Applying a warm compress to your sinuses or chest can help relieve congestion and ease discomfort. Use a warm, damp cloth and apply it to the affected area for 10-15 minutes.
- Eucalyptus Oil: Adding a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil to hot water and inhaling the steam can help clear nasal congestion and ease breathing. Be cautious not to apply undiluted essential oils directly to the skin.
- Chicken Soup: Chicken soup has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties and may help relieve symptoms of a cold, including congestion and sore throat. Plus, it’s comforting and nourishing.
