7 Healthy Foods To Start Your Day | On Empty Stomach

Generally, we all start our day with breakfast, which is a very important meal in our day. The daily consumption of breakfast is averagely estimated up to 300 calories by nutrition experts. But before having your breakfast, there is an another important thing through which you should start your day. Along with you, your body internal organs should wake up and work actively after a long rest. So to wake up your organs to function, you have to boost them by giving some healthy drink.
We all know that, water is the best natural purifier of our body. So soon after getting up from bed, you should drink a glass of water. You can have your breakfast after 15 minutes of drinking water. You may also complete your daily warm up mean while. To increase our metabolism, we can also choose more nutritious recipes as mentioned below:
1. Warm lemon water with honey
This combo is very familiar for everyone. When we add lemon and honey together, it enhances the immunity power. This is also known as detox drink, as these ingredients cleanses the body. Moreover, lemon and honey contains very few calories. By drinking this early in the morning makes your organs function actively and remove toxins from your body.

2. Dates Water / Dates
Drinking soaked dates water with empty stomach is the nutritious idea. It is one of the best infused drink which acts as refreshing recipe. When dates soaked in water, it becomes soft and releases sweetness into the water, which is known as a natural sweetener. These are rich in antioxidants and tannins, which prevent cell damage and inflammation. You can also add this water to other smoothie recipes for sweetness. This dates water can also be given to infants from 7 months. Eating dates on empty stomach helps to kill intestinal worms. The fiber content in dates helps to reduce constipation. 3. Soaked Almonds
Almonds are a rich source of manganese, Vitamin E, protein, fibre, Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. When almonds are soaked in water, all these vitamins and minerals are enhanced. It is the great idea to break long fasting. Almonds also increase satiety feeling the whole day, so it is better to take about 4-8 soaked almonds on empty stomach. When we soaked almonds, the brown peel on them can be easily removed, which allows nut to release and absorb nutrients easily. Soaking reduces phytic acid in almonds. Soaked almonds are soft which are easy to digest.

4. Chia Seeds Water
Chia seeds are loaded with nutrients that can have important benefits for your body and brain. Omega-3 fatty acids help raise HDL cholesterol, the good cholesterol that protects against heart attack and stroke. Chia seeds are known as complete protein as they contain all 9 essential amino acids. Soak 1 teaspoon these seeds overnight in water and have it on empty stomach. 5. Papaya
Start your day with papaya, as it cleanses your stomach and helps for smooth bowel movement, Papayas contain healthy antioxidants known as carotenoids and lycopene. The antioxidants can reduce inflammation, fight disease and help keep you looking young. Make sure that, after eating papaya there should be 1 hour gap to take any other food. Watermelons are best idea to start our hot summer mornings too. When we consumed watermelon on empty stomach, all essential nutrients get perfectly absorbed by the body after a long rest. Although some people experience bloating after eating watermelon, it gives relief from hyper acidity when taken on empty stomach. It also improves your mood swings in early morning. Watermelon should be eaten alone, don’t combine it with any low digesting foods. It may cause a lot of gas and bloating.
