Periods Diet Plan

Periods are most common in females that occur once in a month for healthy womens. Periods are very pain full cycle that happens in all women. It is very important to have healthy periods on every month. But it is possible only when we take healthy and balanced diet.
There are many foods that helps to have regular periods. Periods are also known as menstrual cycle. Uterus is contracted in these periods and cramping occurs which cause mild to severe pain in the abdomen.
There are many foods that help in periods. They are:
- Water
- Green leafy vegetables
- Fruits
- Turmeric
- Chicken
- Fish
- Dark chocolate
- Ginger
Water should be drink in more amount to avoid dehydration during periods, Drinking plenty of water can also stop you from retaining water and bloating. Fruits with more water content should be taken. Green leafy vegetables are rich in iron content, iron levels are dipped during your period, particularly if your menstrual flow is heavy. This can lead to fatigue, bodily pain and dizziness. Ginger may also helps to reduce many pains, Ginger has anti-inflammatory effects, which can soothe achy muscles. Chicken is another iron- and protein-rich which helps to be energetic. Fish is rich in iron, protein, and omega-3 fatty acids which helps to reduce the menstrual flow.
Diet Plan
Menstrual pain is characterised by cramps that may be mild to severe in some womens. The pains occur due to contractions in the womb muscles. Many people have uncomfortable symptoms during menstruation. Periods pain starts from first day to last day of the cycle in many cases. Period pains are usually self-treatable with the help of pain killers and other home remedies.
Painful menstrual cramps are known as dysmenorrhea and although the cramps occur in the lower abdomen and the pelvic region, in some cases menstrual cramps may also affect the lower back, hips, upper thighs and legs.
So, to reduce cramping its better to maintain certain diet before a week of your periods start.Taking raisins, legumes, fruits and vegetables before a week period starts may help to reduce the period pain.
But you should avoid dairy products because they may cause bloating. Sugar based products are to be reduced during periods because there’s a chance of raise of glucose levels. It may worsen your mood and may gone to depression.
It is very good to do exercise and small workouts daily for at least 30 mins brisk walk daily. Massaging your abdomen with oil may relive your pain. Calcium supplements are also suggested to few people.
