Lactose Free diets are suggested for the people those who are intolerant to lactose foods. Lactose free foods don’t contain lactose. Lactose
Lactose contains 2 sugars, one with glucose and the other with galactose, which is known as disaccharide. The enzyme lactase is needed to break down lactose sugar into glucose and galactose. This is absorbed into the bloodstream and used for energy.
Lactose-Free Diet
Lactose-Free diets became very common recently, in this process lactose is completely eliminated or restricted in certain patients diet. Lactose sugar is mostly found in milk and milk products. Although, not only milk but many other foods like bakery items, sauces, soups, cereal breakfasts may also contains certain amount of lactose.
Here, lactose intolerant patients should also avoid glucose and galactose foods along with lactose foods, as lactose contains these 2 sugars.
Lactose Intolerance:
Lactose intolerance is caused by the inability to digest lactose enzyme, which is the main carbohydrate in dairy products. It is also known as digestive disorder, as it can’t be digest by lactose intolerant persons body. People with lactose intolerance don’t make enough lactase enzyme, which is needed to digest lactose.

All the above foods are to be avoided by lactose intolerance persons, all these are the products and by products of milk. So, keep it in your milk that not to consume any type of milk based products.

Firstly, you should read each and very label on the product that you are going to purchase. Don’t buy any thing without labels. If it contains lactose, it is definitely mentioned on the label as milk, milk power, milk sugars, etc.
